Annual Pairs Championship All normal pairs evenings care included. Pairs must acquire a minimum of 10 scores to qualify, and for every three scores over 10 the outstanding worst score is dropped. The pair with the highest average of the remaining scores are the winners.

Bob Adair Trophy Swiss pairs played twice a year. Points are awarded as follows:

Gwen Stoneham Teams Trophy Multiple teams of 4 played on the the third Monday except December. The winner is the individual with the best aggregate IMP score over the season. Members must play at least 6 times to qualify. For members who play more than 6 times, their best 6 scores will count.

Peter Hall Trophy This trophy is awarded to the member who achieves the highest aggregate Butler cross-imp score in League of 8 matches, as recorded on the club’s web site. Members must play at least 5 times to qualify. Scores count equally, irrespective of the team / division played in.

Raymond Worrall Improvers’ Trophy For pairs who qualify for the current and previous year’s pairs championships. Awarded to the pair with the largest improvement in their pairs championship average compared with the previous year.

The Chairman’s Cup for Most Master Points Won This trophy is awarded to the individual who accumulates the most master points on club nights during the year,

Addis Page Trophy This trophy is awarded to the member with the highest average percentage playing with 6 different partners (all of whom must also be club members) on 6 pairs evenings. Only one score can be counted per partner. If a member has played more than once with one of their partners, their best score with that partner will count. If a member plays with more than 6 separate partners, their best 6 scores will count.

The competition year runs from 1st April to 31st March, except that for the Peter Hall Trophy, which runs for the League of 8 season.
