Annual Pairs Championship All normal pairs evenings count, but not Swiss Pairs and special events. Pairs must acquire a minimum of 10 scores to qualify, and for every three scores over 10 the outstanding worst score is dropped. The pair with the highest average of the remaining scores are the winners.

Gwen Stoneham Teams Trophy Multiple teams of 4 played on the the third Monday on seven months a year. The winner is the individual with the best aggregate IMP score over the season. Players must play five times to qualify. Anyone who plays six or seven times drops one or two of their worst IMP scores respectively.

Raymond Worrall Improvers’ Trophy For pairs who qualify for the current and previous year’s pairs championships. Awarded to the pair with the largest improvement in their pairs championship average compared with the previous year.

Individual Master Point Competition Awarded to the individual who accumulates the most master points on club nights during the year, but who has not won any of the above competitions.

Addis Page Trophy A new trophy has been presented for the 2006/07 season by Chairman Addis Page. This is awarded to the member with the highest average percentage playing with 6 different partners on 6 pairs evenings; ie you need a minimum of 6 separate scores with 6 different partners to be eligible; with more than 6 partners, the best 6 count, but you may only count one score with each partner. |
